I recieved Masters Degrees from Notre Dame de Namur University in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy.
I worked with the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) in Mountain View for 5 years, which gave me experience with a wide variety of clients. I also spent 6 years counseling at a Los Altos elementary school, where I was able work with children and their families from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
I have participated in many psychological studies that have broadened my counseling experiences including a Color Code retreat with the renowned Taylor Hartman, Just for Kids program leader for Drug & Alcohol abuse, and at Community Health Awareness Councli (CHAC) led training for new interns on using art therapy with clients.
I am in private practice, serving the Mid-Peninsula, where I treat children, teens and adults. I have a wide variety of tools that help me treat clients, that I have learned from personal experience, extensive schooling, and of course practice. But, I believe my biggest gift to clients is my ability to help them recognize their best qualities. When you like yourself, life is good.
